This beautiful yak leather collar with a sliding chain has been round-stitched over an 8-fold braided polyester leash. The reinforcements are made of contrasting pull-up leather. All hooks and rings are hand-stitched. Due to the two sewn and hand-waxed threads, the hand stitches of our AKAH saddlers are extremely durable - in contrast to a machine stitch. The collar is available in several sizes. Yak leather is three times as tough and robust as cowhide of the same thickness, yet still as soft as moose leather. Our Finnish tanner buys the hides directly from the Mongolian nomadic herders - without intermediaries. This way, the nomads receive 100% of the value of their valuable product. Diese wunderschöne Yakleder Halsung mit Durchzugskette ist über einer 8-fach geflochtene Polyesterleine rundgenäht worden. Die Verstärkungen sind imit kontrastierendem Pull-up Leder versehen. Alle Haken und Ringe sind von Hand angenäht. Durch die zwei vernähten und von Hand gewachsten Fäden sind die Handnähte unserer AKAH Handsattler extrem belastbar - im Gegensatz zu einer Maschinennaht. Die Halsung ist in mehreren Größen erhältlich. Yak-Leder ist dreimal so zäh und robust wie Rindsleder derselben Dicke, aber dennoch so soft wie Elchleder. Unser finnischer Gerber kauft die Häute direkt von den mongolischen Nomadenhirten - ohne Zwischenhändler. Dadurch erhalten die Nomaden 100% des Gegenwertes ihres wertvollen Produktes. Halsweite: 30 cm
