This is the legendary short telescope system developed by Mauser in the version with the modern S-safety and a German set trigger.
The oil stock is equipped with a Bavarian cheek piece and Monte Carlo back.
The bolt runs smoothly and cycles cleanly and reliably. The magazine holds 2+1 cartridges. The trigger breaks cleanly and is optimal for precise shooting at long distances.

Waffe mit geringen Gebrauchsspuren. System dicht, Lauf spiegelblank, Zug-/Feld-Profil scharf! Schöne und guterhaltene Mauser 66 in einem straken Kaliber.
Es handelt sich um das von Mauser entwickelte legendäre kurze Teleskop-System in der Version mit der modernen S-Sicherung und einem Deutschen-Stecher Abzug.
Der Ölschaft ist mit bayrischer Backe und Monte Carlo-Rücken versehen.
Der Verschluss läuft weich und repetiert sauber und zuverlässig. Das Magazin fasst 2+1 Patronen. Der Abzug bricht trocken und ist für den präzisen Schuss auf weite Distanz optimal.
Das Zeiss Zielfernrohr 8x56 ist mit dem Absehen 1 ausgestattet. Die Linsen sind klar und brillant. Das Zielfernrohr ist mit einer Suhler Einhakmontage (SEM) montiert. Die Montage sitzt fest und saugend.
