Bei Verwendung eines Schalldämpfers ist der Gasrückstoß in das Gesicht des Anwenders nicht nur störend, sondern auch ein Gesundheitsrisiko, insbesondere auf geschlossenen Schiessständen. Der neue RBS-Suppressor reduziert die Menge der Verbrennungsgase aus dem Auswurffenster und dem Ladegriff erheblich.
