Musashi lived between the end of the Sengoku period and the beginning of the Edo period (between the 16th and 17th centuries) and is considered the greatest swordsman in Japanese history. But he was not only a gifted swordsman but also an artist, leaving behind self-crafted sword components for posterity. The design of this sword is inspired by his legacy, featuring a red scabbard and the famous Namako double-ring tsuba, also known as the Musashi tsuba. The tsuba is made of iron and is very stable. The red scabbard is made of wood and reinforced with horn elements. Additionally, a band (sageo) in the Shigeuchi style is attached to the scabbard (saya). The pommel (kurigata) is positioned so that the sword can be optimally worn on the obi, for example, for Iaido. The grip is wrapped with a cotton band (ito). Hishigami paper is wrapped into the grip wrapping. The same inserts are real. The grip (tsuka) is well fitted to the tang of the blade, and for an authentic look, a mekugi is used. The grip generally has an exceptionally high quality of workmanship for this price range. The blade is forged from T8 steel with differential hardening and real hamon. A fuller (bo-hi) is incorporated into the blade, which reduces the weight of the sword and produces a distinctly audible sound when swung. A yokote is visually incorporated into the blade. In die Griffwicklung ist Hishigami Papier eingewickelt. Die Same-Einlagen sind echt. Der Griff (Tsuka) ist gut an die Klingenangel angepasst und fr eine authentische Optik wird ein Mekugi verwendet. Der Griff hat im Allgemeinen eine auergewhnlich hohe Verarbeitungsqualitt fr diese Preisklasse. Die Klinge ist aus T8 Stahl geschmiedet mit Differentialhrtung und echter Hamon. Es ist eine Hohlkehle (Bo-Hi) in die Klinge eingearbeitete, wodurch das Schwert gewichtsreduziert ist und beim Schwingen ein deutlich hrbares Gerusch liefert. In die Klinge ist optisch eine Yokote eingearbeitet.
