You are bidding in this auction on a worn, very beautiful and rare piece of history.

The bag is a family heirloom that has been in the family since the 1900s, on behalf of which I am offering the bag.

The former owner was a member of the Legion Condor and used the bag for the clips of his Mauser carbine K98 during the Spanish Civil War, as well as subsequently in WW2.

The condition of the cartridge bag is naturally corresponding to its age and the stresses of the time.

The leather is now very hard, but still completely intact and without cracks or breaks.

Due to the hardening, the lid on the front is slightly warped.

The seams are also still tight and intact.

Sie bieten in dieser Auktion auf ein getragenes, sehr schönes und seltenes Stück Geschichte.

Bei der Tasche handelt es sich um ein Erbstück, das sich seit den 1900er Jahren bis heute im Familienbesitz befindet, in deren Auftrag ich die Tasche anbiete.

Der frühere Besitzer war Mitglied der Legion Condor und nutzte die Tasche für die Ladestreifen seines Mauser Karabiners K98 im spanischen Bürgerkrieg, sowie anschließend im WW2.

Der Zustand der Patronentasche ist aufgrund des Alters und der damaligen Belastung natürlich entsprechend.

Das Leder ist inzwischen zwar sehr hart, aber noch vollkommen intakt und ohne Risse oder Brüche.

Durch die Verhärtung ist der Deckel auf der Vorderseite etwas verbogen.

Auch die Nähte sind noch fest und intakt.
