This very rare work from 1899 documents some masterpieces of the renowned Städel Museum in Frankfurt and is likely only to be found in a few research libraries today. 22 plates / photolithographs from the Munich Bruckmann Verlag, founded in 1858. The protective folder features typical Art Nouveau ornamentation on the cover as well as in the interior. The binding shows wear and small damages corresponding to its age. The plates have slight discolorations at the edges. On the image by Hans Hohlbein, fingerprints are visible on the cardboard, but the photolithograph itself is undamaged. The red lines on the photolithographs are, of course, not present in the original and serve only to protect against image collectors. No guarantee of completeness. Dieses sehr seltene Werk von 1899 dokumentiert einige Meisterwerke des bekannten Städel Museums in Frankfurt und ist heute wahrscheinlich nur noch in einigen Forschungsbibliotheken zu finden. 22 Bildtafeln / Lichtdrucke des 1858 gegründeten Münchner Bruckmann Verlags. Die Schutzmappe ist in der typischen Jugendstilornamentik auf dem Cover sowie im Innenteil gehalten. Einband weist dem Alter entsprechenden Abrieb und kleine Beschädigungen auf. Bildtafeln weisen an den Rändern leichte Verfärbungen auf. Auf dem Bild von Hans Hohlbein sind auf dem Karton Fingerabdrücke zu sehen, der Lichtdruck selbst ist aber unbeschädigt. Die roten Striche auf den Lichtdrucken sind im Original natürlich nicht vorhanden und dienen nur dem Schutz vor Bildersammlern. Keine Garantie auf Vollständigkeit.
