German replacement bayonet M 98/05, Carter No 44, without scabbard, the blade refurbished, signs of refurbishment on the false edge and still fine blemishes visible, some rust spots near the blade tip, grip and crossguard pitted, with remnants of a modern coating, blade spine with crowned acceptance mark, troop stamp 56.A.D.116 on the grip back. No further stamps recognizable. Since the bayonet has been visibly refurbished, no guarantee on the authenticity of the stamping !!! Deutsches Ersatzbajonett M 98/05, Carter No 44, ohne Scheide, die Klinge überarbeitet, an der Fehlschärfe Spuren der Überarbeitung und noch feine Närbchen erkennbar, nahe der Klingenspitze einige Rostnarben, Griffstück und Parierstange narbig, mit Resten einer neuzeitlichen Lackierung, Klingenrücken mit bekrönter Abnahmepunze, auf dem Griffrücken Truppenstempel 56.A.D.116. Weitere Stempel nicht erkennbar. Da das Bajonett erkennbar überarbeitet wurde, keine Garantie auf die Echtheit der Stempelung !!!
