The Hawkbill blade, mounted on two movable arms, does not rotate around an axis in the traditional way, but is swung out parallel from the handle and locked in place. The locking of the kerambit is released with the lever embedded in the handle. The operation is so straightforward and intuitive that safe and quick handling is always ensured. The handle elements are made from 6061 T6 aluminum, while the titanium nitride-coated blade is made of D2 and is an impressive 5.3 millimeters thick. Die auf zwei beweglichen Armen gelagerte Hawkbill-Klinge dreht sich nicht klassisch um eine Achse, sondern wird vom Griff parallel nach vorne herausgeschwenkt und verriegelt. Die Verriegelung des Kerambits wird mit dem in Griff eingelassenen Hebel wieder gelöst. Die Bedienung ist so unkompliziert und intuitiv, dass stets ein sicheres und schnelles Handling gewährleistet ist.
