The Böker Plus Caracal Folder by Boris Manasherov has been in high demand since its release and is now available in various versions. The Caracal Folder 42 forgoes the liner lock of the other versions and is instead equipped with a slipjoint. However, the special feature is the locking pin, which can secure the Caracal against folding when needed. This locking pin sits in the handle back in the spacer and can, if desired, be inserted laterally into the hole in the handle, which holds the blade firmly and securely. Spring-loaded balls keep the pin securely anchored in both positions. The rest of the equipment matches the previous Caracal: solid steel plates with pleasantly contoured G10 scales, a blade made of D2, and the reversible deep-carry clip (tip-up/l-r) create a familiar impression. Der Böker Plus Caracal Folder von Boris Manasherov ist seit Erscheinen überaus gefragt und mittlerweile in diversen Versionen erhältlich. Der Caracal Folder 42 verzichtet auf den Linerlock der übrigen Versionen und ist stattdessen mit einem Slipjoint ausgestattet. Das besondere Merkmal ist jedoch der Sicherungsstift, mit dem das Caracal im Bedarfsfall gegen Einklappen gesichert werden kann.Dieser Sicherungsstift sitzt im Griffrücken im Distanzstück und kann, wenn gewünscht, seitlich in die Bohrung im Griff gesetzt werden, wodurch die Klinge fest und sicher steht. Federbelastete Kugeln halten den Stift an beiden Positionen sicher verankert.
