For the first time since the overwhelmingly successful launch of the new Walther flagship, Walther is pleased to present the Performance Duty pistols in new color options. Now, three grip colors are available: OD Green, Tungsten Gray, and Flat Dark Earth. These are skillfully combined with the black groups of slide, barrel, and controls, creating a unique contrast. These new color options are available in the following configurations: PDP Compact with 4" slide, PDP Full Size with 4.5" slide, PDP Full Size with 5" slide.

Performance Duty Trigger:
“Best in Class” characteristic: It breaks at the pressure point like glass at 25 N, making it the prerequisite for controlled hitting. Outstanding safety: The perfected duty pressure point allows for safe trigger control in any situation. Short reset: For consistent top performance from shot to shot.
Ergonomics and intuitive aiming:
Top “Pointability” – excellent pointing behavior: The PDP intuitively follows the “Central Vision” of the aiming eye. The perfect grip angle and the balanced triad of overall weight, weight distribution, and balance ensure optimal aiming.
Optimal grip through Performance Duty Texture:
The outstanding grip under all conditions allows for perfect handling of the PDP, both with and without gloves. SuperTerrain Serrations: Raised grip grooves at the front and rear of the slide ensure that the PDP sits securely in hand in any situation, whether with a Red Dot Sight or open sights, in any weather, and with or without gloves.
The arrangement of the controls is user-oriented and typical for Walther: The target is at the center of attention, and the operation of the pistol is intuitive.
Optics Ready:
Every PDP is suitable for red dot sights that can be integrated deep into the slide to fully exploit the excellent aiming behavior. The simultaneous use of co-witness sights is possible, allowing for quick and unconscious acquisition of the dot of the optical sight. Thanks to the special design of the slide, Red Dots can be integrated almost seamlessly. The special shaping at the end of the grip provides support for the little finger and aids in instinctive aiming.
Modularity:
The PDP is the most modular and versatile pistol that Walther has ever built. With a Picatinny rail, optics-ready capability, side-swappable magazine holder, three different barrel lengths, and two grip lengths, each with three backstraps, it is well-prepared for any duty use. The open sights of the PDP use common mounting dimensions, and the accessory market offers an almost limitless selection of sight options.
Reliability:
Thanks to the stepped chamber, the casing is reliably guided, allowing the PDP to extract more muzzle energy from the ammunition and reducing residue in the firearm. This means the PDP shoots better for longer. The PDP: “Made to be shot”!
Safety features:
The loaded chamber indicator on the extractor signals whether a round is in the chamber. In addition, trigger, firing pin, and safety (disconnector) provide even more safety.
