The Mauser M 12 Extreme delivers on its name. Its extremely robust construction, nearly indestructible stock, and slip-resistant handling make it a rifle that pushes you to the limit! Mauser's M 12 follows the tradition of hunting bolt action rifles of the MAUSER 98 type. The proven M 98 infantry system, appreciated by generations of hunters, has been stylishly further developed in the new M 12. Thus, the M 12 stands for the same highest reliability as the M 98.
The System
The system is typically made of steel. 6 lugs in the chamber lock directly into the barrel, enhancing precision. This also allows for a short opening angle of 60 degrees, ensuring quick cycling. The textured chamber handle ball contributes to this. The Mauser-typical open loading window provides the opportunity to quickly load a cartridge from above in critical situations. The brilliantly dry direct trigger with a pull weight of 950 g enables the most precise shooting results.
The M 12 Extreme is equipped with a 3-position manual safety. In the relaxed state, it allows for loading and unloading the rifle. Additionally, it offers a position where the chamber is secured against accidental opening. The rifle comes with a removable magazine that holds 5+1 cartridges (medium caliber) and 4+1 (magnum caliber).
The Stock
The stock of the M 12 Extreme is made from ultra-robust polymer, making it nearly indestructible. The soft-touch coating ensures slip-resistant handling in any situation. The classic shape, reminiscent of the old M 98, makes many hunters' hearts race.
The Barrel
The 56 cm long barrel (medium caliber) or 62 cm (magnum caliber), optionally shorter, features a standard barrel contour of 17 mm at the muzzle, providing good vibration behavior. It has been cold-hammered and is excellently precise. Equipped with open sights, an M15x1 muzzle thread is optional.

Die Mauser M 12 Extreme hält, was ihr Name verspricht. Ihre äußerst robuste Bauweise, der nahezu unzerstörbare Schaft und rutschsicheres Handling. Mit dieser Mauser gehen sie ans Limit! Mausers M 12 folgt der Tradition der jagdlichen Repetierbüchsen vom Typ MAUSER 98. Das bewährte M 98-Infanteriesystem, das Generationen von Jägern zu schätzen wissen, wurde in der neuen M 12 stilsicher weiterentwickelt. So steht die M 12 genauso wie die M 98 für höchste Verlässlichkeit.
Das System
Das System wurde Mausertypisch aus Stahl gefertigt. 6 Warzen an der Kammer verriegeln direkt im Lauf, das steigert die Präzision. Zudem konnte dadurch der kurze Öffnungswinkel von 60 Grad erreicht werden, der schnelle Repetiervorgänge garantiert. Dazu trägt auch die griffige Kammergriffkugel bei. Das Mauser-typische offene Ladefenster bietet in brenzlichen Situationen, die Möglichkeit schnell, von oben, eine Patrone nachzulegen. Der brillant trockenstehende Direktabzug mit einem Abzugsgewicht von 950 g ermöglicht präziseste Schießergebnisse.
Die M 12 Extreme ist mit einer 3-Stellungs-Handspannung ausgestattet. Die lässt im entspannten zustand das Laden und Entladen der Büchse zu. Außerdem bietet sie eine Stellung, in der die Kammer gegen versehentliches Öffnen, gesichert ist. Zu der Büchse gehört ein herausnehmbares Magazin mit Platz für 5+1 Patronen (Medium-Kaliber) und 4+1 (Magnum-Kaliber)
Der Schaft
Der Schaft der M 12 Extreme ist aus ultra-robustem Polymer hergestellt, wodurch er fast unzerstörbar ist. Die Soft-Touch-Beschichtung garantiert rutschfestes Handling in jeder Situation. Die klassische Form, angelehnt an das alte M 98 lässt viele Jägerherzen höherschlagen.
Der Lauf
Der 56 cm lange Lauf (Medium-Kaliber) oder 62 cm (Magnum-Kaliber), optional kürzer, mit einer Standard-Laufkontur von 17 mm an der Mündung, besitzt ein gutes Schwingverhalten. Er wurde kalt gehämmert und ist hervorragend präzise. Ausgestattet mit einer offenen Visierung, ist ein M15x1 Mündungsgewinde optional.
