Browning GPDA 9 blank firing pistol 9mm P.A.K. - including 50 blank cartridges "shoot-club" - The Browning GPDA9 gas pistol is based on the original FN Browning HP (High Power) in caliber 9mm Para. The first design was completed in 1925 by John Moses Browning at the Belgian arms manufacturer FN. The pistol achieved market readiness with the introduction of the double-column magazine in 1926. It thus had a capacity of 13+1 rounds. For the slide, the builder naturally opted for his self-developed and further improved system (FN-Browning system), which was absolutely insensitive to dirt and dust. The Belgian military and police quickly recognized the potential of the semi-automatic and adopted it as an ordinance weapon. After World War II, it was introduced worldwide by various authorities as a service pistol and is still in use today in some cases. The signal pistol is produced in 9mm P.A.K under license by Umarex. 9 cartridges of this caliber fit into the double-column steel magazine, just like the original. Instead of a safety, the blank firing pistol features a ambidextrous decocking lever. The weapon can be used in both single and double action modes. Our assessment: Since Umarex has a very high quality standard, it is difficult to find significant differences or even defects in the various weapons during testing. As always, the delivery of the blank firing pistol comes in a well-padded black plastic pistol case. Included are a manual, a barrel cleaning brush, and the launch cup for pyrotechnic effects. Even though there are no original markings present, as the gas pistol was not 100% based on the original, it still gives the impression of a real pistol at first glance. The workmanship is exemplary once again and shows no defects in the bluing. The unloaded weight of 800 grams also confirms the good overall impression. The magazine can be easily loaded without any snagging, despite the double-column design. The signal pistol can be easily cocked thanks to the recesses integrated into the slide on both sides. If you do not want to fire the loaded pistol, the installed decocking lever can be used. Here comes the only criticism we could find. The decocking and slide catch levers are a bit stiff and scratch slightly. However, they are never impaired in their function. In summary, with the Browning GPDA9 gas/signal pistol, you are acquiring a solid and reliable short firearm that collectors will also enjoy. Browning GPDA 9 Schreckschusspistole 9mm P.A.K.- inkl. 50 Platzpatronen "shoot-club" - Die Browning GPDA9 Gaspistole basiert auf der scharfen FN Browning HP (High Power) im Kaliber 9mm Para. Der erste Entwurf wurde 1925 von John Moses Browning beim belgischen Waffenproduzenten FN fertiggestellt. Marktreife erlangte die Pistole mit der Einführung des zweireihigen Magazins im Jahr 1926. Sie besaß somit eine Kapazität von 13+1 Schuss. Beim Verschluss entschied sich der Erbauer natürlich für sein selbst entwickeltes und nochmals verbessertes System (FN-Browing-system), welches gegen Schmutz und Staub absolut unempfindlich war. Schnell erkannten das belgische Militär sowie die Polizei das Potential des Selbstladers und führten diesen als Ordonnanzwaffe ein. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wurde sie weltweit bei diversen Behörden als Dienstpistole eingeführt und findet teilweise heute noch Verwendung. Die Signalpistole wird in 9mm P.A.K von der Firma Umarex in Lizenz produziert. 9 Patronen dieses Kalibers passen in das wie beim Original zweireihige Stahlblechmagazin. An Stelle einer Sicherung wurde bei der Schreckschusspistole ein beidseitig bedienbarer Entspannhebel verbaut. Die Waffe ist sowohl im Single- als auch im Double Action Modus nutzbar.Unsere Einschätzung:Da der Qualitätsanspruch von Umarex sehr hoch ist, ist es schwer im Test große Unterschiede oder gar Mängel an den verschiedenen Waffen festzustellen. Wie immer erfolgt die Lieferung der Schreckschuss-Pistole in einem gut gepolsterten schwarzen Pistolenkoffer aus Kunststoff. Mit dabei sind eine Anleitung, eine Laufreinigungsbürste sowie der Abschussbecher für pyrotechnische Effekte. Auch wenn keine originalen Markings vorhanden sind, da die Gas-Pistole nicht zu 100% vom Vorbild übernommen wurde, so entsteht auf den ersten Blick doch der Eindruck einer scharfen Pistole. Die Verarbeitung ist einmal mehr vorbildlich und lässt keine Mängel in der Brünierung erkennen. Auch das ungeladene Gewicht von 800 Gramm bestätigt den guten Gesamteindruck. Das Magazin lässt sich trotz der zweireihigen Ausführung einfach und ohne Hakeln bestücken. Durch die beidseitig im Schlitten eingearbeiteten Vertiefungen, lässt sie die Signal-Pistole gut spannen. Sollte man die durchgeladene Pistole nicht abfeuern wollen, kann der verbaute Entspannhebel genutzt werden. Hier kommt auch der einzige Kritikpunkt, welchen wir finden konnten. Entspann- sowie Schlittenfanghebel sind etwas schwergängig und kratzen leicht. Allerdings sind sie zu keiner Zeit in ihrer Funktion gestört.
