The HNTR Pants is Merkel Gear's response to the high demand for a lightweight yet robust, modern-cut all-round hunting pants for the warmer half of the year. The core of the "HNTR" is the durable and very quiet outer fabric made from quick-drying 4-way stretch Oxford material. 95% polyamide and 5% elastane form the basis for a lightweight and ultra-comfortable fabric that accommodates every movement while being resilient. The fabric features a water-repellent, (PFOA and PFC-free) enhanced DWR finish. Like all pants from Merkel GEAR, the new HNTR Pants is equipped with a gusset in the cut, which further relieves the already strong double seams. The waistband is extremely comfortable and convenient, as with all pants from Merkel GEAR, and can be closed with two loop buttons and a YKK® semi-auto zipper. Sufficient belt loops and discreet attachment options for suspenders keep the pants where they belong. The HNTR Pants features two side pockets with deep pocket bags as well as a zippered back pocket. On the left thigh, there is a close-fitting, inconspicuous cargo pocket that closes with a flap and magnet. On the right thigh, there is a discreet coin pocket and below it, a smartphone pocket for standard-sized phones. The knees are pre-shaped in two parts to give the pants a natural fit. As with the MNTN II, the inner side seams are laid out shark-fin style outward at the lower part to increase the lifespan of the double seams in this particularly stressed area. The leg openings fit snugly around the shoe and feature a partial stretch waistband that further emphasizes the modern overall impression of the pants and makes life difficult for ticks. Those looking for a robust yet lightweight pair of pants for summer or African hunting, who value an excellent price-performance ratio, and prefer a more fashionable cut, will surely enjoy the HNTR Pants.

Die HNTR Pants ist Merkel Gears Antwort auf die vielfache Nachfrage nach einer leichten aber robusten, modern geschnittenen Allround-Jagdhose für die wärmere Jahreshälfte. Herzstück der „HNTR“ ist der robuste und dabei sehr geräuscharme Oberstoff aus schnell trocknendem 4-Wege-Stretch Oxford-Gewebe. 95% Polyamid und 5% Elastan bilden die Basis für einen leichten und gleichzeitig ultra-bequemem Stoff, der jede Bewegung mitmacht und noch dazu belastbar ist. Der Stoff verfügt über ein wasserabweisendes, (PFOA- und PFC-freies) verbessertes DWR Finish. Wie alle Hosen von Merkel GEAR ist auch die neue HNTR Hose mit einem Zwickel im Schnitt ausgestattet, der die ohnehin kräftigen Zweifachnähte zusätzlich entlastet. Der Bund ist wie bei allen Hosen von Merkel GEAR äußerst komfortabel und bequem ausgestattet und mittels zweier Schlaufenknöpfe und eines YKK® Semi-Auto Zippers zu verschließen. Ausreichend Gürtelschlaufen und dezente Aufnahmemöglichkeiten für Hosenträger halten die Hose da, wo sie hingehört. Die HNTR Pants verfügt über zwei seitliche Einschubtaschen mit tiefen Taschensäcken sowie eine Gesäßtasche mit Reißverschluss. Am linken Oberschenkel findet sich eine eng anliegende, unauffällige Cargotasche, die mittels Flap und Magnet verschlossen wird. Am rechten Oberschenkel befinden sich eine dezente Nickertasche und darunter eine Smartphonetasche für Handys der Standardgröße. Die Knie sind zweifach vorgeformt, um der Hose eine natürliche Passform zu verleihen. Wie schon bei der MNTN II sind die inneren Seitennähte im unteren Bereich haiflossenartig nach außen verlegt, um die Lebendsauer der Zweifachnähte in diesem besonders beanspruchten Bereich zu erhöhen. Die Beinabschlüsse liegen eng am Schuh an und verfügen über einen teilweisen Dehnbund, der den modernen Gesamteindruck der Hose noch unterstreicht und Zecken das Leben erschwert. Wer eine robuste aber leichte Hose für den Sommer oder die Afrikajagd sucht, auf ein ausgezeichneten Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis Wert legt, und einen eher modischen Schnitt bevorzugt, wird mit der HNTR Pants sicherlich viel Freude haben.
