Specifically designed for camping and backpacking, the Thermacell MR-BP BACKPACKER device was developed for mosquito control. The Thermacell technology provides an effective protection area of about 20 square meters, keeping up to 98% of biting mosquitoes and similar blood-sucking insects away. Active ingredient plates are used, which are heated with a mini butane grill with piezo ignition (no open flame) and release a repellent that mimics nature. The MR-BP uses a gas cartridge with a standard screw thread (cartridge not included). Weighing 114 g, the device is easy to use and safe in operation. Since the repellents are virtually odorless, Thermacell is the ideal alternative to lotions and sprays that are applied to the skin. Speziell für Camping und Backpacking wurde das Thermacell MR-BP BACKPACKER Gerät zur Mückenbekämpfung entwickelt. Die Thermacell-Technologie bietet einen effektiven Schutzbereich von etwa 20 Quadratmetern, der bis zu 98% Stechmücken und ähnliche blutsaugenden Insekten fernhält.
