The Savage Impulse Hog Hunter is the lightweight and short version from the Savage Impulse series. The weapon has been tailored to German driven hunt conditions and designed to be particularly maneuverable. The special feature of the entire Impulse series from Savage is the Hexlock straight pull locking system. The Hexlock system does not lock using a spread head, but rather through locking balls in the bolt head, which is only found in very specialized sporting firearms.

The weapon is delivered with a variety of different stock backs and butt pads, allowing you to customize the weapon to your needs. You can also adjust the chamber handle; it can be easily converted from a right-handed weapon to a left-handed weapon at the user level.

Die Savage Impulse Hog Hunter ist die leichte und kurze Version aus der Savage Impulse Serie. Die Waffe wurde auf deutsche Drückjagdverhältnisse abgestimmt und besonders führig designt. Das besondere an der kompletten Impulseserie von Savage ist das Hexlock Geradezug Verschlusssystem. Das Hexlock System verschließt nicht mittels eines Spreizkopfs, sondern über Verriegelungskugeln im Verschlusskopf, was so nur bei sehr speziellen Sportwaffen zu finden ist.

Geliefert wird die Waffe mit einer Fülle verschiedener Schaftrücken und Schaftkappen, so dass Sie die Waffe an Ihre Bedürfnisse anpassen können. Ebenfalls anpassen, können Sie den Kammerstengel; diesen kann man auf Nutzerebene sehr leicht von einer Rechtshänderwaffe zu einer Linkshänderwaffe umbauen.
