The Gewürzmühle Rosenheim Tellicherry pepper comes from the southwest of India, from one of the oldest pepper-growing regions in the world, the Malabar coast. It is named after the port city of Thalassery (formerly Tellicherry). The fruits for this particularly aromatic pepper are harvested fully ripe, and the large berries are often already reddish-brown. This suggests that the berries are allowed to ripen on the pepper plant for a long time. Thus, this pepper is referred to as late harvest pepper. The mill-suitable pepper is very flavorful and reminiscent of tea or sandalwood. Aroma: intense-warm, pronounced-spicy Recommendation: aromatic, spicy all-rounder that pairs particularly well with fried dishes Ingredients: Tellicherry pepper (Piper nigrum) (Show description in original language)
