Two legends from France: The Tour de France and the Opinel knife! For several years, Opinel has been offering products with the official license of the Tour de France that honor the high status of this event. The 2022 edition is a size 8 knife with a handle made of hornbeam and features symbolic motifs, such as the motif for the best climber, Mont Ventoux, or the Arc de Triomphe. The elaborate, multicolored design has been applied to the handle using a sublimation printing process. Stainless Sandvik steel 12C27M has been used for the blade material. The locking mechanism known from Opinel knives, the Virobloc ring, also securely locks the blade in both the closed and open positions in this model. LIMITED EDITION!

Zwei Legenden aus Frankreich: Die Tour de France und das Opinelmesser! Seit einigen Jahren bietet Opinel mit der offiziellen Lizenz der Tour de France Produkte an, die dem hohen Stellenwert dieser Veranstaltung die Ehre erweisen. Die Edition 2022 ist ein Messer der Größe 8 mit einem Griff aus Hainbuche und präsentiert symbolträchtige Motive, wie z.B. das Motiv für den besten Bergfahrer, den Mont Ventoux oder den Arc de Triumphe. Die aufwändige, mehrfarbige Darstellung wurde mittels Sublimationsdruck-Verfahren auf dem Griff angebracht. Als Klingenmaterial wurde rostfreier Sandvik-Stahl 12C27M eingesetzt. Die von Opinel-Messern bekannte Arretierung, der Virobloc-Ring, fixiert natürlich auch bei diesem Modell die Klinge im geschlossenen und geöffneten Zustand. LIMITED EDITION!
