The helmet adapters from FMA are designed to comfortably attach the Peltor headsets Comtac I and II to helmets. The adapter features two clips on each side, into which the headset mounting pins can be clicked. In combination with the rail adapters, the ear cups can now be attached to the Picatinny rails of the helmet. The advantage of this adapter is that the headset can be flipped away from the ear when not in use, allowing sounds and air to reach the ear. Die Helmadapter der Firma FMA dienen dazu, die Peltor Headsets Comtac I und II komfortabel an Helmen zu befestigen. Hierzu verfügt der Adapter über zwei Klammern auf jeder Seite, in die die Headset-Halterungspins eingeklickt werden. In Kombination mit den Rail-Adaptern können nun die Hörmuscheln an den Picatinny-Schienen des Helms befestigt werden. Der Vorteil dieses Adapters liegt dabei darin, dass das Headset bei Nichtgebrauch vom Ohr weggeklappt werden kann und damit Geräusche sowie Luft an das Ohr lässt.
