Product information "Merlin 42 Attachment (2020) - Range: 1482 m" The MERLIN-42 (2020), a multifunctional attachment scope, features a new collimator lens that is permanently attached to the housing – thus, unscrewing is no longer possible. Revisions can be found in the housing components as well as in the software. Therefore, the new device generation is more precise and even more robust than the predecessor optics. The MERLIN-42 impresses with simple and equally reliable handling, and absolute precision in execution are the unbeatable strengths of this optic. It can also be used as a handheld thermal imaging camera with the separately available booster, as well as an adapted attachment device for daytime optics with a separately available clamp adapter. The MERLIN-42 can be used handheld and as an attachment scope for daytime optics. The optic features an integrated compass and inclinometer. Power is supplied via standard 2xCR123 (3.7V) batteries or rechargeable batteries. The powerful VOx detector and the OLED display in XGA format provide high-contrast and sharp images. The manually focusable 42 mm objective lens allows a detection range of up to 1,482 m. The installed VOx detector also allows for an 8x magnification of the daytime optic. We recommend using the clamp adapter KA-MC (optional), which is available for all diameters.
