Naturally, special attention is paid to the cleaning of the bore interior, as this is where the greatest problems are known to exist. All systems share the commonality that the cleaning, conservation, and de-oiling of the barrel is done with wool felt elements. VFG barrel cleaners are made from high-quality wool felt, precisely fitting in diameter for each caliber, made from natural sheep wool fibers with cellulose wool. This is done exclusively by felting and fulling the individual fibers, meaning without any additional binding agents. - Felt is a pure natural product and contains no chemical substances. - It is dimensionally stable yet elastic and can be precisely punched in modern processes. This creates a brush-like surface at the punch cut from countless fiber ends, which has an optimal cleaning effect under appropriate pressure. - It is highly absorbent and can hold coarse and fine dirt particles in its tangled fiber structure, thus removing them from the bore. The excellent absorbency also allows for the uptake and storage of liquids (e.g., oil, solvents, polishing paste, etc.). - Felt is a textile product and therefore harmless to firearms and extremely gentle. - As a carrier for polishing agents, it helps to polish metal surfaces to a shine. In cases of heavy contamination or deposits, the VFG Intensive Cleaners facilitate cleaning with additionally embedded brass fibers. This intensive cleaner combines the advantages of wool cleaners with those of bronze brushes or steel wool and is therefore very abrasive, elastic, and absorbent. The intensive cleaners guarantee even more efficient cleaning of the bore interior or of chamber areas in revolver cylinders. The intensive felts penetrate deeply into the grooves of the fields and absorb dirt particles thanks to their porous surface. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird naturgemäß der Reinigung des Laufinneren gewidmet, weil hier bekanntlich auch die größten Probleme bestehen. Alle Systeme haben die Gemeinsamkeit, dass die Reinigung, Konservierung und Entölung des Laufs mit Wollfilzelementen erfolgt. VFG-Laufreiniger werden aus hochwertigem Wollfilz, für jedes Kaliber im Durchmesser exakt passend, aus natürlichen Schafwollfasern mit Zellwolle hergestellt. Dies erfolgt ausschließlich durch Verfilzen und Verwalken der einzelnen Fasern, also ohne irgendein zusätzliches Bindemittel. - Filz ist ein reines Naturprodukt und enthält keinerlei chemische Substanzen. - Er ist formstabil und doch elastisch und lässt sich in modernen Verfahren präzise stanzen. Dabei entsteht am Stanzschnitt eine bürstenartige Oberfläche aus unzähligen Faserenden, die bei entsprechendem Anpressdruck eine optimale Reinigungswirkung hat. - Er ist sehr saugfähig und kann in seiner Wirrfaserstruktur gröbere und feinste Schmutzpartikel festhalten und so aus dem Lauf entfernen. Die ausgezeichnete Saugfähigkeit ermöglicht auch die Aufnahme und Speicherung von Flüssigkeiten (z.B. Öl, Lösungsmittel, Polierpaste etc.). - Filz ist ein Textilprodukt und deshalb für Waffen unschädlich und äußerst schonend. - Als Träger für Poliermittel hilft er Metalloberflächen blank zu polieren. Bei schweren Verunreinigungen oder Ablagerungen erleichtern die VFG Intentiv-Reiniger durch zusätzlich eingelagerten Messingfasern das Säubern. Dieser Intensivreiniger vereint dieVorteile der Wollreiniger mit denen der Bronzebürste oder Stahlwolle und ist daher sehr stark abrasiv, elastisch und saugfähig. Die Intensivreiniger garantieren eine noch effizientere Reinigung des Laufinneren oder auch von Patronenkammern in Revolvertrommeln. Die Intensiv-Filze dringen tief in die Züge der Felder ein und nehmen die Schmutzpartikeln dank der poringen Oberfläche in sich auf. Die Anwendung der VFG-Filze können in Verbindung mit den VFG-Putzstöcken oder handelsüblichen Putzstöcken in Kombination mit dem VFG-Adapter verwendet werden.
