This means: the system contains two firing pins and two firing springs. Both systems have their justification. The advantage of the system 95 lies in a smoother operation, as only one firing spring is tensioned. Thus, the weapon is automatically relaxed again after each individual shot, making it very safe. The advantage of the system 97 is that, in case of emergency, a second shot can be fired very quickly without re-tensioning. The system 97 is therefore especially useful for the hunter who wants to take advantage of opportunities for quick doubles. Die Läufe sind vom Büchsenmacher zueinander justierbar. Dadurch ist die Blaser BBF beim Einsatz von Flintenlaufgeschossen unschlagbar.Kombinierte Jagdwaffen der Modellreihe 95 sind mit einem Schloss ausgestattet, kombinierte Waffen der Modellreihe 97 dagegen mit zwei Schlössern. Dies bedeutet: im System befinden sich zwei Schlagstücke und zwei Schlagfeder. Beide Systeme haben ihre Berechtigung. Der Vorteil des Systems 95 liegt in einer leichtgängigeren Bedienung, da nur eine Schlagfeder gespannt wird. Somit ist die Waffe nach jeder einzelnen Schussabgabe auch automatisch wieder entspannt und damit sehr sicher. Der Vorteil des Systems 97 liegt darin, dass im Fall der Fälle ein zweiter Schuss ohne erneutes Nachspannen sehr schnell abgegeben werden kann. Das System 97 ist deshalb vor allem für den Jäger sinnvoll, der die Gelegenheit zu schnellen Doubletten häufig nutzen möchte.
