RWS .222 REM TMS 3.24G 20ER The .222 Rem. is very popular as an all-round cartridge for hunting and sport shooting. It is used for both benchrest shooting and hunting smaller game. In hunting, the cartridge is very well suited for roe deer and fox, with roe deer being reliably taken at distances up to 200 m. Additionally, the cartridge is suitable for sitting hares as well as capercaillie and black grouse, as the small caliber is particularly gentle on game meat. The development of the cartridge took place as early as 1950 and was a new development by Remington at that time. Its constructive advantages are still relevant today: low recoil and high precision. The cartridge is equipped with 3.24 g heavy projectiles, providing the best possible performance. For sport shooting, there are also 3.37 g heavy match projectiles. Partial jacket projectile The RWS PARTIAL JACKET projectile (TM projectile) has a very high energy transfer in the game body due to its special projectile construction, which in turn guarantees good stopping power. RWS .222 REM TMS 3,24G 20ERDie .222 Rem. ist sehr beliebt als Allroundpatrone für die Jagd und das sportliche Schießen. Sie wird sowohl zum Benchrestschießen als auch zur Jagd auf schwächeres Wild verwendet. Bei der Jagd ist die Patrone sehr gut für Rehwild und Fuchs geeignet, wobei Rehwild bis 200 m sicher erlegt werden kann. Außerdem ist die Patrone sowohl für den Ansitzhasen als auch für den Auerhahn und Birkhahn einsetzbar, weil das kleine Kaliber besonders wildbretschonend ist.
