Eine handelsübliche 12g Co2 Kapsel setzt das System unter Druck. Dieses stellt dadurch eine maximale Energie von bis zu 3,5 Joule bereit. Des Weiteren verfügt die Walther P38 über ein Blow Back System welches den Schlitten bei jedem Schuss realistisch zurückschnellen lässt. Somit wird auch gleich der nächste Schuss nachgeladen.
