The Ballistic M Frame 3.0 is exclusively aimed at military personnel and civilian police and rescue forces. The weight of the glasses has been reduced to under 30g. Thanks to the narrow temples, these glasses can be easily worn under a PASGT, MICH, or comparable helmets. They can also be comfortably worn under hearing protection earmuffs and communication equipment. The frame and lenses made from Oakley's "Plutonite" polycarbonate provide protection for the eye area. They offer complete protection against UVA/UVB radiation and are coated to prevent fogging. The special geometry of the lenses ensures a distortion-free image at all viewing angles.
