The ASEK or Aviator knife is a successful combination of combat and rescue knife. The black blade features an extra sharp serration on its back. In addition to its cutting function, the blade has a belt-cutting element that can effortlessly cut through ropes, cords, straps, etc. The ergonomically shaped handle made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide has a wide guard and a loop for a lanyard. At the end of the handle, there is a glass breaker. The plastic sheath has an internal spring to secure the knife in an upside-down position. The sheath is mounted on a nylon carrying device with 2 removable and adjustable straps for attachment to the thigh. Das ASEK bzw. Aviator Messer ist eine gelungene Kombination von Kampf- und Rettungsmesser. Die schwarze Klinge hat auf ihrem Rücken eine extra scharfe Sägezahnung. Die Klinge hat neben ihrer Schneidefunktion ein Gurtschneideelement, mit dem Taue, Seile, Gurte etc. mühelos durchtrennt werden können. Der ergonomisch geformte Griff aus glasfaserverstärktem Polyamid hat eine breite Parierstange und eine Öse für Fangriemen. Am Griffende befindet sich ein Scheibenzertrümmerer. Die Kunststoff-Steckscheide hat eine innenliegende Feder zur Sicherung des Messers in upside-down Position. Die Steckscheide befindet sich auf einer Nylon-Tragevorrichtung mit 2 abnehm- und verstellbaren Gurten zur Befestigung am Oberschenkel.
