The 7 mm Rem. Mag. was introduced in 1962. It belongs to the family of so-called Magnum cartridges. This caliber is suitable for bolt-action rifles with standard systems. To this day, this caliber is used by hunters in Europe, which can be attributed to a flatter trajectory and thus higher speeds compared to the 7x64. In line with this trend, GECO followed in 1995 with the introduction of the 10.7 g partial jacket bullet. Currently, the range also includes the GECO Express load with 10.0 g bullets and GECO Plus with 11.0 g weight. For all hunters who prefer lead-free ammunition, there is the GECO ZERO with a weight of 8.2 g. Die 7 mm Rem. Mag. wurde im Jahre 1962 vorgestellt. Sie gehört der Familie der sog. Magnumpatronen an. Dieses Kaliber eignet sich für Repetierbüchsen mit Standard-Systemen. Bis heute wird dieses Kaliber von Jägern in Europa geführt, was auf eine gestrecktere Flugbahn und somit höhere Geschwindigkeiten gegenüber der 7x64 zurückzuführen ist. Diesem Trend ist GECO 1995 mit der Einführung des 10,7 g schweren Teilmantel-Geschoss gefolgt. Aktuell umfasst das Sortiment zudem die Laborierungen GECO Express mit 10,0 g schweren Geschossen und GECO Plust mit 11,0 g Gewicht. Für alle Jäger, die bleifreie Munition bevorzugen gibt es das GECO ZERO mit 8,2 g Gewicht.
