ZFIX - Alignment Aid

The ZFIX is a simple tool for aligning the reticle when the scope is to be mounted on a weapon with a Picatinny rail. When mounting, the clamping screws of the mounting rings should initially be tightened only enough so that the scope can still be rotated. The ZFIX is now placed in one of the Picatinny slots and secured to the weapon with the included rubber bands. The ZFIX must now lie flat in the slot. The scope is then rotated until, when looking into the eyepiece, the reticle aligns with the horizontal reference lines attached to the ZFIX. (Show description in original language)

ZFIX - Ausrichthilfe

Das ZFIX ist ein einfaches Hilfsmittel zum Ausrichten des Absehens, wenn das Zielfernrohr auf eine Waffe mit Picatinny-Schiene montiert werden soll. Beim Montieren sollten die Klemmschrauben der Montageringe zunächst nur so fest angezogen werden, dass sich das Zielfernrohr noch verdrehen lässt. Das ZFIX wird nun in eine der Picatinny-Nuten gesetzt und mit den zum Lieferumfang gehörenden Gummibändern an der Waffe fixiert. Das ZFIX muss jetzt flächig in der Nut aufliegen. Das Zielfernrohr wird dann soweit verdreht, bis beim Einblick in das Okular das Absehen mit den auf dem ZFIX angebrachten horizontalen Hilfslinien fluchtet.
