At 16, he passed the hunter's exam and was an intern at a professional hunting school. From a poacher, he learned in 1957 the art of luring various wild animals. The high art of call hunting significantly shaped his entire hunting career. It was not until 2004 that he began to develop his own calling instruments and produce them in series.
