Klaus Weisskirchen was born in 1943 in a small house on the edge of the forest in the Oberbergischer Kreis. Already as a 10-year-old student, he often roamed the forest and tried to interpret the voices of the forest animals in order to imitate them. At the age of 14, he trained as a gunsmith. At 16, he passed the hunter's exam and was an intern at a professional hunting school. From a poacher, he learned in 1957 the art of luring various wild animals. The high art of call hunting significantly shaped his entire hunting career. It was not until 2004 that he began to develop his own calling instruments and produce them in series.
