For sale from first ownership is an absolute collector's item and a rarity for discerning shooters and hunters: My Smith & Wesson Model 629-4 Classic Powerport in caliber .44 Remington Magnum with the extremely rare, leading 5-inch barrel with integrated compensator.

This weapon originally comes from the legendary Smith & Wesson Performance Center (S&W logo on the frame and case plaque) and was traditionally officially tested in Germany at the proof house in Suhl through the then importer. The revolver is based on the robust N-frame (Square Butt).

The absolute highlight for enthusiasts:

The coveted generation (-4): The series 629-4 (Dash 4) is considered by S&W connoisseurs to be the most mature and best era ever. It comes factory-equipped with the factory "Endurance Package" (internal frame reinforcement), is completely machined from solid material, and still comes completely without the unpopular internal lock (Pre-Lock) as well as without MIM cast parts. Combined with the factory hand-tuning from the Performance Center, the weapon offers an outstanding lock characteristic.
Exclusive 5-inch special series: While the longer 6.5-inch US models are often found online, this is the extremely rare 5-inch variant (LL approx. 12.7 cm) with a full lug, which was released in the mid-90s (year of manufacture according to serial number prefix AKG is 1996) as a limited special series exclusively for the German market.
