Warm invitation to take over a true classic!
I am selling my Steyr SL in an extremely well-maintained condition with excellent shooting performance. The rifle is very lightweight and handy and is very rarely found in .223.
A few years ago, I acquired it from a farmer who used it as a pasture rifle. The shooting load is very low, as I have also rarely used the Steyr. It is estimated that no more than 250 shots have gone through the barrel, which is mirror-like on the inside.
The precision is outstanding even with inexpensive GECO Express, and the effect on standing roe deer is also very good.
Here are some details about the rifle:
- Barrel length: approx. 50 cm
- Overall length: approx. 98 cm
- Stock length: original buttstock
- Muzzle thread: M14 (an adapter for M15 can be purchased for a small additional fee, as well as ammunition)
The trigger can be operated well even without engaging the set trigger! I had Picatinny bases from BÜMA installed, which was elaborate. This allows all scopes to be mounted with inexpensive Picatinny rings.
The condition is very good: The barrel was recently re-blued, and the bluing on the action is completely intact. The wood shows only minor signs of use.
Regarding the quality of the Steyr in general: High-precision workmanship with hammered barrels and the ingenious drum magazine!
I am parting with the rifle because I need space in my cabinet and have fulfilled my long-desired wish for a break-action rifle.

Ich verkaufe meine Steyr SL in einem äußerst gepflegten Zustand mit hervorragender Schussleistung. Das Gewehr ist äußerst leicht und führig und in .223 sehr selten zu finden.
Vor einigen Jahren habe ich es von einem Landwirt erworben, der es als Weidegewehr genutzt hat. Die Schussbelastung ist sehr gering, da ich die Steyr ebenfalls selten eingesetzt habe. Schätzungsweise sind keine 250 Schüsse durch den Lauf gegangen, der von innen spiegelblank ist.
Die Präzision ist sogar mit preiswerten GECO Express überragend und die Wirkung auf weit stehendes Rehwild ist ebenfalls sehr gut.

- Lauflänge: ca. 50 cm

- Mündungsgewinde: M14 (ein Adapter für M15 kann gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis erworben werden, ebenso wie Munition)
Der Abzug lässt sich auch ohne Betätigung des Stechers gut bedienen! Ich habe Picatinny-Basen von BÜMA montieren lassen, was aufwändig war. Dadurch können alle Gläser mit preiswerten Picatinny-Ringen montiert werden.
Der Zustand ist sehr gut: Der Lauf wurde kürzlich neu brünniert und die Brünnierung am System ist vollständig erhalten. Das Holz hat nur geringe Gebrauchsspuren.
Zur Qualität der Steyr im Allgemeinen: Hochpräzise Verarbeitungsqualität mit gehämmerten Läufen und dem genialen Trommelmagazin!
Ich gebe das Gewehr ab, da ich Platz in meinem Schrank brauche und meinen lang ersehnten Wunsch nach einer Kipplaufbüchse erfüllt habe.
