The Swedish Mauser I am offering was manufactured in 1899 in Oberndorf. The metal is original except for the sights and the Picatinny rail. The infantry rifle m96 was introduced into the Swedish army in 1896 and was also manufactured in the Mauser factories in Oberndorf until 1900. This rifle was inspected in 1899 by a Swedish inspector with the initials GF. These initials are found on all metal parts of the rifle, as well as the weapon number. The original stock no longer exists and the rifle now has a Monte Carlo stock; the rifle has been used for hunting. The rifle has a proof mark from 1971 (Mellrichstadt) and the Frankonia mark. The bluing is worn off the front part of the sight. It shoots well, like most Swedes with the caliber 6.5x55SE.

Der von mir angebotene Schwedenmauser wurde 1899 noch in Oberndorf gefertigt. Das Metall ist bis auf die Visiereinrichtungen und die Picatinnyschiene original. Das Infanteriegewehr m96 wurde im Jahr 1896 in der schwedischen Armee eingeführt und bis 1900 auch in den Mauserwerken in Oberndorf gefertigt. Dieses Gewehr wurde 1899 von einem schwedischen Inspector mit den Initialen GF abgenommen. Diese Initialen befinden sich an allen Metallteilen des Gewehres. ebenso wie die Waffennummer. Der Originalschaft ist nicht mehr existent und das Gewehr hat jetzt einen Monte-Carlo-Schaft, das Gewehr ist jagdlich geführt worden. Das Gewehr hat einen Beschußstempel von 1971 (Mellrichstadt) und das Frankonia-Zeichen. Im vorderen Teil des Visiers ist die Brünnierung weg. Schießen tut es gut, wie die meisten Schweden mit dem Kaliber 6,5x55SE.
