RARITY: Due to circumstances, a DAN WESSON 744 VH revolver, Pistol PAC, with 6" and 8" barrels as well as the corresponding 4! barrels is being offered to collectors. Of these, 2 are in Vented Heavy (VH) and 2 in Heavy (H). The material is Stainless Steel, modular barrel change with adjustable cylinder gap! - 3 grips available, of which 2 are wood and one is rubber (Pachmayer) - Original case available, but without foam insert - Original tools available (barrel tensioning key and measuring gauge) - 3 interchangeable front sights (sight inserts in various colors) - The revolver is very well maintained, without visible damage or modifications. I acquired the set new in 1988; it was only used a few times for sighting in at the shooting range, with a maximum of 150 shots fired. The Pistol PAC from MONSON production comes from the era of the founders when DAN WESSON was still independent and run by true firearms enthusiasts. This phase was characterized by inventiveness, passion, and precision - each piece was a small technical masterpiece. A MONSON Pistol PAC is a piece of American firearms history! MONSON (1968 - 1992) was the first and original manufacturing site of DAN WESSON - Firearms. There, experienced gunsmiths worked with high standards of fit, precision, and quality control. Later production sites like PALMER or NORWICH could not maintain this standard! MONSON today stands synonymously for artisanal top quality. DAN WESSON revolvers from MONSON were equipped with the unique Barrel-Nut system, which allows for stress-free barrel changes. The precision is legendary; many MONSON models won shooting competitions. No other revolver of its time offered a comparable combination of modularity and precision. MONSON produced very small quantities as Pistol PACS at that time; this one is one of the few in .44 Magnum that were sold in Germany! Davon 2 in Vented Heavy (VH ) und 2 in Heavy ( H ) . Das Material ist Stainless Steel, Modularer Laufwechsel mit einstellbarem Trommelspalt! - 3 Griffe vorhanden, davon 2 in Holz und einer in Gummi ( Pachmayer ) - Original Koffer vorhanden, aber ohne Schaumstoff-Einlage - Original Werkzeug vorhanden ( Laufspannschlüssel und Messlehre ) - 3 Wechselkörner ( Korn - Einsätze in verschiedenen Farben ) - Revolver ist sehr gepflegt, ohne erkennbare Schäden oder Umbauten Das Set habe ich im Jahr 1988 neu erworben, es war als Sammlerstück lediglich ein paar mal zum Einschießen auf dem Schiesstand, max. 150 Schuss abgegeben.
