The MK18 MOD1 airsoft replica is part of the new airsoft replicas from GHK Airsoft and is therefore equipped with all improvements and upgrades. These ensure more reliable performance on the field and especially enhance the shooting experience. As is typical for GHK, many steel parts are also used in this replica, making the rifle appear even more realistic. Particularly interesting about the MK18 MOD1 is the licensed collaboration between Colt and Daniel Defense. These two real steel manufacturers are also responsible for the production and development of the real MK18 and were able to be won over as licensors for this high-quality airsoft replica. In addition to the main body, all original markings are also present on the rail system, making the rifle interesting not only for players but also for collectors. In addition to its appearance, the GHK MK18 is equipped with a semi-automatic gas blowback shooting system that boasts strong shooting performance and an extra-strong recoil.
The original MK18 MOD 1 assault rifle is the latest variant of the MK18 and is recognizable by the gas block without sights and the handguard that extends to the flash hider. This type of rifle, as well as the MK18 MOD 0 variant, is used by various US military units and authorities.
As with all newer airsoft replicas from the GHK M4 GBB series, a completely robust steel outer barrel has also been mounted here. This features an authentic, machine-turned ribbed appearance and a gray-black coating. Also made of steel is the flash hider in standard M4 design. As with the real MK18 MOD 1, instead of the conventional handguard, a approximately 9.5-inch long aluminum free float R.A.S. rail system is mounted here. This is a CNC-machined 1:1 replica of the original Daniel Defense MK18 RISII in a bronze color tone. Thanks to the license, all original markings are present, creating a particularly realistic impression. Various accessories can be mounted on the four 21mm rails by the shooter (not included). The sight mounted on top is a flip-up model with height adjustment made of aluminum. For added realism, there is also the decorative gas tube with gas block under the rail system. All parts on the front system are precisely manufactured and fitted without play.
The completely play-free aluminum housing is engraved with original Colt logos, inscriptions, and the original caliber designation (see photos). In addition to these markings, the fire selector markings are also deeply cast or embossed into the aluminum. The precise GHK manufacturing quality impresses here across the board, and as with the original, the external components (fire selector, pins, bolt catch, magazine holder) are made entirely of steel. Thanks to the GBB shooting system, this M4 rifle replica is just as slim as the original M4 housing and therefore has 1:1 dimensions. As is usual with the M4, the upper housing part is equipped with a approximately 160 mm long 21mm rail, on which, for example, a sighting device from the accessory market can be mounted. From the factory, a side-adjustable flip-up sight made of steel/aluminum is attached, which can be folded in or out as desired. The Crane-Stock stock is made of polymer composite material, making it extremely robust. The stock cap is made of rubber material and provides a non-slip surface when the rifle is held in position.
By loosening the rear pin, the GHK MK18 can be faithfully unfolded. The internal components that then become visible are truly a sight to behold and are clearly designed for reliability. All important parts of this rifle are made of steel - starting with the hammer set, fire pin, bolt catch, fire selector lever, and the bolt. Especially the bolt is a real chunk and weighs over 220 g. In combination with the installed heavy aluminum buffer, this provides a truly extra-strong recoil when shooting as well as a metallic gunshot sound. Last but not least, an adjustable aluminum Hop-Up system with a 6.03mm tuning barrel and improved Hop-Up bucking is also factory-installed. Compared to conventional rifles from other manufacturers, the GHK M4 series therefore has a good precision advantage right out of the box.
Due to the "Gas-Blow-Back" shooting system, the bolt moves back and forth when shooting. Due to the heavy weight and size of the bolt, the GHK M4 rifle series has a truly extra-strong recoil that is noticeably felt in the shooter's shoulder. The accompanying metallic sound is also part of the experience and contributes to a much more realistic shooting feel. The shooting performance of the rifle is up to 1.5 - 2 Joules - a very good value for a rifle in its delivered condition.

Der MK18 MOD1 Airsoftnachbau gehört zu den neuen Airsoftreplikas von GHK Airsoft und ist deshalb mit sämtliche Verbesserungen bzw. Upgrades ausgestattet. Diese sorgen für eine zuverlässigere Leistung auf dem Spielfeld und steigern vor allem auch das Schusserlebnis. Wie von GHK gewohnt, sind auch bei diesem Nachbau sehr viele Stahlteile verbaut, womit das Gewehr noch realistischer wirkt. Vor allem interessant beim MK18 MOD1 ist das Lizenz-Zusammenspiel von Colt und Daniel Defense. Diese beiden Real Steel Hersteller sind auch am scharfen MK18 für die Fertigung bzw. Entwicklung zuständig und konnten für diesen hochwertigen Airsoftnachbau als Lizenzgeber gewonnen werden. Neben dem Hauptgehäuse sind daher auch auf dem Schienensystem sämtliche Originalmarkings vorhanden und machen das Gewehr nicht nur für Spieler, sondern auch Sammler sehr interessant. Zusätzlich zur Optik ist das GHK MK18 mit einem halbautomatischen Gas-Blow-Back Schusssystem ausgestattet, dass mit einer starken Schussleistung und einem extra-starken Rückstoß aufwarten kann.
Das Original MK18 MOD 1 Sturmgewehr ist die aktuellste Variante des MK18 und erkennbar am Gas-Block ohne Visierung sowie dem Handguard, der bis zum Flash-Hider ausgeführt ist. Dieser Gewehrtyp sowie die MK18 MOD 0 Variante werden von diversen US Militäreinheiten sowie Behörden eingesetzt.
Wie bei sämtlichen neueren Airsoftnachbauten aus der GHK M4 GBB Serie, wurde auch hier ein komplett aus robustem Stahl hergestellter Außenlauf montiert. Dieser besitzt eine authentische, maschinengedrehte Rillen-Optik sowie eine grau-schwarze Beschichtung. Ebenfalls aus Stahl gefertigt ist natürlich der Flash-Hider im Standard M4 Design. Wie beim echten MK18 MOD 1 ist hier anstatt des herkömmlichen Handguards ein ca. 9,5 Zoll langes Aluminium Free Float R.A.S.-Schienensystem montiert. Es handelt sich dabei um eine CNC-gefräste 1/1 Replika des Original Daniel Defense MK18 RISII im bronzefarbenen Farbton. Dank der Lizenz sind sämtliche Originalmarkings vorhanden, wodurch ein besonders realistischer Eindruck erweckt wird. An den vier 21mm Schienen können vom Schützen diverse Zubehörteile montiert werden (nicht enthalten). Beim oben angebrachten Visier handelt es sich um ein Flip-Up Modell mit Höhenverstellung aus Aluminium. Für mehr Realismus sorgt zusätzlich das dekorative Gas-Gestänge mit Gas-Block unter dem Rail System. Sämtliche Teile am Frontsystem sind präzise verarbeitet und spielfrei montiert.
Das ebenfalls völlig spielfrei gefertigte Aluminiumgehäuse ist mit eingravierten Original Colt-Logos, -Schriftzügen und der Originalkaliberangabe versehen (siehe Fotos). Neben diesen Markierungen sind auch die Feuerwahlhebel-Markings tief in das Aluminium eingegossen bzw. eingeprägt. Die passgenaue GHK-Fertigungsqualität überzeugt hier auf ganzer Linie und es sind wie beim Original, die äußeren Beschlagteile (Feuerwahlhebel, Pins, Bolt-Catch, Magazinhalter) komplett aus Stahl hergestellt. Dank GBB-Schusssystem ist auch dieser M4 Gewehrnachbau gleich schmal wie das Original M4-Gehäuse und besitzt daher 1/1 Abmaße. Wie beim M4 üblich ist das obere Gehäuseteil mit einer ca. 160 mm lange 21mm Schiene ausgestattet, auf der z.B. ein Zielgerät aus dem Zubehörmarkt montiert werden kann. Ab Werk ist hier ein seitenverstellbares Flip-Up Visier aus Stahl / Aluminium angebracht welches wahlweise ein- oder ausgeklappt werden kann. Unter dem Gehäuse ist ein Standard M4A1 Griffstück mit angerauter und griffiger Oberfläche aus Polymer-Verbundkunststoff angebracht.
Die Stock-Tube wurde aus haltbarem Aluminium gefertigt und besitzt 5 Einrastpositionen, damit der Schütze das Gewehr anpassen kann. Wie beim echten Gewehr besteht der Crane-Stock Schiebeschaft aus Polymer-Verbundkunststoff und ist dadurch äußerst robust. Die Schaftkappe ist aus Gummimaterial gefertigt und wirkt rutschhemmend, sobald das Gewehr im Anschlag gehalten wird.
Durch lösen des hinteren Pins kann das GHK MK18 originalgetreu aufgeklappt werden. Die dann zum Vorschein kommenden Innenteile sind wirklich eine Augenweide und ganz klar auf Zuverlässigkeit ausgelegt. Sämtliche wichtigen Teile bestehen bei diesem Gewehr aus Stahl - angefangen beim Hammer Set, Fire-Pin, Bolt-Catch, Feuerwahlhebel oder dem Verschluss. Vor allem der Verschluss ist ein wirklicher Brocken und bringt über 220 g auf die Waage. In Verbindung mit dem verbauten Heavy Aluminium Buffer sorgt dies für einen wirklich extra-starken Rückstoss beim Schießen sowie ein metallisches Schussgeräusch. Zu guter Letzt ist auch noch ein einstellbares Aluminium Hop-Up System mit 6.03mm Tuninglauf sowie verbesserten Hop-Up Bucking ab Werk verbaut. Gegenüber herkömmlichen Gewehren anderer Hersteller besitzt die GHK M4 Serie ab Werk daher einen guten Präzisionsvorteil.
Aufgrund des "Gas-Blow-Back" Schusssystems bewegt sich der Verschluss beim Schießen nach hinten und vorne. Durch das schwere Gewicht und die Größe des Verschlusses besitzt die GHK M4 Gewehrserie einen wirklichen extra-starken Rückstoß, der spürbar in der Schulter des Schützen ankommt. Auch der dazu gehörende metallische Klang ist mit von der Partie und sorgt in Verbindung, für sehr realistischeres Schussgefühl. Die Schussleistung des Gewehrs beträgt bis zu 1,5 - 2 Joule - ein sehr guter Wert für ein Gewehr im Auslieferungszustand.
