Chinese Type-56 stock set made of "Chu-Wood" / fixed stock + handguard / Sino AK47 // Norinco SDM Polytech NEDI / Type 56

Original Norinco fixed stock sets for the Chinese Type 56 -> the epitome of the AK, and probably the only quality product that the Middle Kingdom has produced in the last 200 years.

It is made of painted Chu-Wood. The steel parts are Chinese blued. At the rear, there are drop doors for cleaning kits.

They are numbered for simplicity (see photo 2) and can be chosen freely. The last two pictures show the pistol grips #2 and #3, as I have color-coordinated them with the other parts from #2 and #3. 

Should fit without issues in common Chinese AKs such as from NEDI, SDM, Polytech, and Norinco. They can also be mounted on AKMs.
However, please feel free to compare my measured dimensions with your rifle (Technical section).


Condition:

Partially slight signs of use, but absolutely stable substance. Some of the steel parts have a bit of surface rust, but it's really not worth mentioning. A few are slightly sticky due to long storage - > Just go over it with a dry brush and that will be resolved.

All stocks have a fully functional drop door at the rear as well as the inner cavity for a cleaning kit. Unfortunately, the inner spring, which is normally found in an AKM, is missing. A cleaning kit fits in without any problems, but it can only be removed with centrifugal force (flinging it out).

Spacer for the upper handguard is unfortunately not present, but it is generally not really needed in the civilian sector.


Prices and Additional Info:

#1 (119 €) This set does not include a grip.

#2 (159 €) This set is missing the stock mounting screws. The grip is relatively light, but it should match in color with use.

#3 (159 €) Darkest color and more signs of use. This set has a corner of the wood broken off. However, this does not affect stability. In my opinion, it is best suited for the "I'm going to hang out in Africa for another 50 years" look.
 

Technical:

Stocks designed for Type 56 fixed stock rear trunnion (tongue is about 3mm longer than AKM rear trunnion) and stamped Type 56 receiver (inner diameter 31mm thus about 1mm narrower than AKM receiver). 

Distance between screw holes (center - center): approx. 38 mm
Width of the wood piece that goes into the receiver: approx. 31 mm

Handguards designed for Sino AKs should fit without issues in AKM AK47. I have one mounted on a Saiga myself.

Inner distance (the space where the sliding sight base is located): approx. 24.2 mm

Grips have the AK47 angle, which is a bit flatter than the angle of a common AKM nut. An AKM nut can be fitted by adjusting the angle of the contact surfaces. For comparison, see the picture with the black AKM grip made of polymer.
Lower openings designed for screws with a head diameter of 8mm. 
Can also be used with screws with a wide 11mm head if the lower steel part is removed and a washer is inserted.
 

Notes:

Color tones in the pictures appear lighter than the parts actually are.
