Air rifle air gun break barrel Quakenbusch around 1875 vintage
The offered fully functional air rifle with the Quakenbusch system has a caliber of 4.5 mm and is being offered here like others due to the reduction of the collection. Personally, I can no longer manage with sights, my eyes are not cooperating, and the new apartment has a maximum "range" of 4 meters (boring), hopefully, it finds a good new user.
The weapon functions flawlessly and is in good used condition. There are some small scratches and dents, surface rust and patina are present due to age (the weapon has not been disassembled and cleaned by me), and everything is represented as accurately as possible in the pictures. The shooting performance of the weapon is good. Seals are fine, the air rifle has a lot of pressure, however, the spring is of course no longer in the original delivery condition. It was manufactured around 1875. The stock is made of oiled walnut and has some play due to age; the screw may need to be tightened. Please consider the pictures as part of the description.
Diana produced a similar model under the name Diana LG 3L (Quackenbush), but with a significantly shorter barrel.

Druckluftgewehr Luftgewehr Kipplauf Quakenbusch um 1875 vintage
Das angebotene voll funktionsfähige Luftgewehr mit dem Quakenbusch-System hat das Kaliber 4,5 mm und wird hier wie andere angeboten, wegen Verkleinerung der Sammlung. Persönlich komme ich mit Kimme und Korn nicht mehr klar, die Augen spielen nicht mit, die neue Wohnung hat zudem maximal eine „Bahnlänge“ von 4 Metern (langweilig), hoffentlich findet es einen guten neuen Nutzer.
Die Waffe funktioniert tadellos und ist in einem guten gebrauchten Zustand. Einige kleine Schrammen und Macken sind vorhanden, Flugrost und Patina sind altersbedingt vorzufinden (Waffe wurde von mir nicht zerlegt und gereinigt.) und alles ist möglichst auf den Bildern dargestellt. Die Schussleistung der Waffe ist gut. Dichtungen sind in Ordnung, das Luftgewehr hat sehr Druck, allerdings befindet sich die Feder natürlich nicht mehr im Auslieferungszustand. Es wurde um 1875 hergestellt. Der Schaft besteht aus geöltem Nussholz und hat altersbedingt etwas Spiel, evtl. muss Schraube angezogen werden. Bitte Bilder als Teil der Beschreibung beachten.
Diana produzierte ein ähnliches Modell mit der Bezeichnung Diana LG 3L (Quackenbush), aber mit deutlich kürzerem Lauf.
