Alexander Dumas immortalized the 3 Musketeers in his novel about the bodyguards of the French king. This rapier was created for theatrical purposes and looks impressively authentic. The pommel is adorned with the heads of the 3 Musketeers. The grip is made of imitation old gold wire with 8 applied lilies. On the bell, the royal coat of arms and 2 scenes from the life of the Musketeers are depicted. The crossguard and the handguard feature figurative representations of the Musketeers.
The manufacturer's mark is located on the blade.
Since the rapier was purely a decorative object, its condition is like new.

Der Knauf ist geschmückt mit den Köpfen der 3 Musketiere. Der Griff ist aus imitiertem Altgolddraht mit 8 aufgesetzten Lilien. Auf der Glocke das königliche Wappen und 2 Szenen aus dem Leben der Musketiere. Die Parierstange und der Handschutz zeigen figürliche Darstellungen der Musketiere.
Auf der Klinge befindet sich die Herstellermarke.
Da der Degen ein reines Dekorationsobjekt war, ist der Zustand neuwertig.
