Unused, nicer and better than new. Hunting knife with welded blade (1095/15N20 damask). The sturdy handle is made of rosewood and decorated with brass inlays. Knife length approximately 30cm, blade length approximately 16cm and thickness from 4.8mm to 3mm (2.5cm behind the tip of the knife). I dyed the simple leather sheath with copper leather dye. Since it was made in Pakistan, I perfected the handle. The gray etched blade was too ordinary for me, so I polished it by hand until it shone. The pattern is more subtle but still clearly visible, and the corrosion resistance is thus also increased. So, a knife almost made in Switzerland.
(Show description in original language)Unbenutzt, schöner und besser als neu. Jagdmesser mit Schweissverbund Klinge (1095er/15N20 Damast). Der kräftige Griff ist aus Palisanderholz und verziert mit Inlays aus Messing. Messerlänge ca. 30cm, Länge der Klinge ca. 16cm und ist 4.8mm bis 3mm (2.5cm hinter der Messerspitze) dick. Die einfache Lederscheide habe ich mit Lederfarbe kupfern gefärbt. Weil es in Pakistan hergestellt wurde hab ich den Griff perfektioniert. Die grau geätzte Klinge war mir zu gewöhnlich, also hab ich sie von Hand poliert bis sie glänzte. Das Muster ist dezenter aber immer noch gut sichtbar und die Korrosionsbeständigkeit ist somit auch erhöht. Also ein Messer fast made in switzerland.
