The Nordmann sword sax is in like-new condition, I have polished the blade and sharpened the edge. The elaborately crafted sheath shows some signs of wear and scratches, see pictures.
The longsax is hand-forged from Cold Steels® finest Damascus steel and is delivered fully sharpened. Each piece features a beautiful wooden grip. The guard and pommel are designed in the typical Viking style and have been polished to a high gloss. As with the Viking-era originals, they consist of alternating layers of brass and steel. The longsax comes with a historically accurate sheath made of sturdy leather with carrying rings, embossed edge reinforcement, and a brass throat band.

Der Nordmann Schwertsax ist neuwertig, die Klinge hab ich nachpoliert und die Schneide schärfer gemacht. Die aufwändige gearbeitete Scheide hat einige Tragespuren und Kratzer, siehe Bilder.
Der Langsax ist aus Cold Steels® feinstem Damaststahl handgeschmiedet und wird vollgeschärft geliefert. Jedes Stück besitzt einen wunderschönen Holzgriff. Parier und Knauf sind im typischen Wikingerstil gestaltet und wurden auf Hochglanz poliert. Wie bei den wikingerzeitlichen Vorbildern bestehen sie aus abwechselnd übereinander geschichteten Messing- und Stahllagen. Der Langsax kommt mit einer historisch korrekten Scheide aus kräftigem Leder mit Tragringen, geprägter Randverstärkung und Ortband aus Messing.
