Visually very robust and mature bouquet and rather matte surface. In my opinion, they look more Soviet than their chic Russian glossy counterparts made of red "Bakelite" (technically actually phenolic resin).
Condition:
Superficially noticeable and authentic signs of use. However, in the core, it is very good. No chipping or cracks. The round steel base, which contacts the head of the handle screw, is free of rust and completely load-bearing.
Technical:
Designed for standard AKM/AK74 nut (same angle as, for example, East German, Russian AKM/AK74 or Hungarian AMD nut).
Requires the shorter Romanian handle screw for installation!
Use of standard handle screw may be possible if the shortfall at the bottom end of the pistol grip is compensated with washers or if the thread of the standard AKM handle screw is enlarged downwards using a die.

Interestingly, these Romanian handles are neither made of solid plastic nor do they have the color dark brown.
Similar to the Beaver Barf Furniture of the VZ58, additional material has been incorporated here (I suspect tear-leather or a textile), either for cost reasons or to improve the properties of the material (weight / grip / thermal).
Due to the incorporated additional material, the handles are certainly grippier than their Russian or Polish counterparts and have a noticeably warmer grip, especially in cold weather.
The base color of the "Bakelite" (the duroplastic) is actually a nearly black color streaked with red, which, upon closer inspection, resembles koi fish. Together with the lighter colors of the incorporated additional material, the two base colors of the Bakelite visually merge into a rustic dark brown. This effect occurs even at short distances (approximately from smartphone distance; see pictures).

Optisch sehr kerniges und reifes Bouquet und eher matte Oberfläche. Sehen meiner Meinung nach sowjetischer aus als ihre schicken russischen Hochglanz-Kollegen aus rotem "Bakelit" ( technisch eigentlich Phenolharz).
Zustand:
Oberflächlich deutliche und authentische Gebrauchsspuren. Im Kern aber sehr gut. Keinerlei Ausbrüche oder Risse. Die runde Auflage aus Stahl, welche mit dem Kopf der Griffschraube Kontakt hat, ist frei von Rost und vollkommen belastbar.
Technisch:
Ausgelegt für Standard AKM/ AK74 Nuss (selber Winkel wie etwa ost-deutsche, russische AKM/AK74 oder ungarische AMD Nuss).
Benötigt zur Installation die kürzere rumänische Griffschraube. Verwendung von Standard Griffschraube gegebenenfalls möglich, wenn man den Fehlbetrag am unteren Ende des Pistolengriffs entsprechend mit Unterlegscheiben kompensiert oder das Gewinde seiner Standard AKM Griffschraube mittels Schneideisen nach unten hin erweitert.

Interessanterweise sind diese rumänischen Griffe weder aus massivem Kunstharz gefertigt, noch haben diese die Farbe Dunkelbraun.
Ähnlich wie das Beaver Barf Furniture der VZ58 wurde hier Zusatzmaterial eingebacken (ich vermute Reiß-Leder oder ein Textil), entweder aus Kostengründen oder um die Eigenschaften des Materials zu verbessern (Gewicht / Griffigkeit / Wärmeleitfähigkeit).
Durch das eingebrachte Zusatzmaterial sind die Griffe jedenfalls griffiger als ihre russischen oder polnischen Kollegen und haben einen merklich wärmeren Griff, besonders bei Kälte.
Grundfarbe des "Bakelit" (des Duroplast) ist tatsächlich ein von Rot durchzogenes Fast-Schwarz, welches bei genauerem Hinsehen an Koi-Fische erinnert. Zusammen mit den helleren Farben des eingebackenen Zusatzmaterials verschmelzen die zwei Grundfarben des Bakelits optisch zu einem rustikalen Dunkelbraun. Dieser Effekt tritt bereits auf kurze Distanz ein (ungefähr ab Smartphone Distanz; siehe Bilder). Die Farbe des Stücks würde ich als ein schwärzliches Dunkelbraun beschreiben.
