The KDG Sidelok Universal Riser for Picatinny equips the shooter with the ability to quickly and accurately mount an optic. Tool-free and literally "at the push of a button." The heart of the "Sidelok" model series is the repeatable quick-release mechanism for Picatinny / NAR. The semi-automatic system is simply tilted up from the side and locks in place automatically. To remove it, the locking lever on the locking slider is pressed and pushed into the mount until it clicks - then the adapter is simply removed.
The Sidelok system is simple, reliable, robust, and maintains the "Zero." This means that once zeroed, the adapter with the mounted optic can be installed and removed without changing the point of impact! Made from high-strength aluminum and hard-anodized, these mounting parts meet modern standards and are aimed at all users, both governmental and civilian, who want to take the modularity of their weapon to the next level.
The Sidelok Universal Riser, Short offers 5 Picatinny slots and raises the optical axis by approximately 15mm - so if an optic with a 22mm optical axis is mounted (e.g., Aimpoint T1/2 on standard mount), it sits on the adapter at a 37mm optical axis and is thus co-witness capable. Perfect for compact red dot sights intended for use on an AR platform.
Please note:
The Sidelok system works with Picatinny and NAR rails. The best possible repeatability is achieved with rails according to the new NAR standard. With Picatinny, there are significantly more fluctuations in quality and tolerance from manufacturers.

Der KDG Sidelok Universal Riser für Picatinny stattet den Schützen mit der Möglichkeit aus, eine Optik schnell und wiederholgenau zu montieren. Werkzeuglos und im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes "per Knopfdruck". Das Herz der "Sidelok" Modellreihe ist der wiederholgenaue Schnelllösemechanismus für Picatinny / NAR. Das halbautomatische System wird einfach seitlich raufgekippt und rastet selbstständig ein. Zum Abnehmen wird der Arretierungshebel am Verriegelungsschieber gedrückt und in die Montage geschoben bis er einrastet - anschließend wird der Adapter einfach abgenommen.
Das Sidelok System ist einfach, zuverlässig, robust und hält das "Zero". D.h. einmal eingeschossen, kann der Adapter mit montierter Optik auf- und abgebaut werden ohne, dass sich die Treffpunktlage ändert! Gefertigt aus hochfesten Aluminium und harteloxiert entsprechen diese Montageteile modernen Standards und richten sich an alle Anwender, behördlich wie zivil, welche die Modularität Ihrer Waffe auf die nächste Stufe heben wollen.
Der Sidelok Universal Riser, Kurz bietet 5 Picatinny Slots und erhöht die optische Achse um ca. 15mm - wird also eine Optik mit 22mm optischer Achse montiert (z.B. Aimpoint T1/2 auf Standardmontage) sitzt diese auf dem Adapter auf 37mm optischer Achse und ist damit Co-Witness fähig. Perfekt für kompakte Leuchtpunktvisiere, welche auf einer AR-Plattform eingesetzt werden sollen.

Das Sidelok System funktioniert mit Picatinny und NAR Schienen. Bestmögliche Wiederholgenaugkeit wird mit Schienen nach dem neuen NAR-Standard erreicht. Bei Picatinny gibt es deutlich mehr Schwankungen in der Qualität und Toleranz von Seiten der Hersteller.
