The Luth-AR handguard cap is necessary to install a handguard in conjunction with a fixed front sight base. The handguard rests on it, which is held under tension by the Delta Ring Assembly. This round cap is suitable for any classic handguard, except for the triangular models of the M16 / M16A1. Modern drop-in solutions like the well-known Quad-Rail handguards and the Magpul MOE can also be easily installed.

Requires a fixed front sight or fixed front sight base. Designed for .750" barrels (government profile / HBAR).
