The Link system from Hera Arms offers a modular and simple way to mount and change muzzle attachments. The system consists of two parts – the base holder, which is screwed onto the muzzle thread of the weapon and remains on it, and the muzzle attachment, which is simply screwed into the base holder and aligned and fixed with 3 set screws in the style of a three-jaw chuck.
The base holders are currently available in 2 variants for different muzzle threads.
The available muzzle threads for both variants are: 1/2"x28 UNF, 5/8"x24 UNF & M15x1. Since the base holder is screwed directly onto the muzzle thread, no washers or crush washers are necessary that could cause the muzzle attachment to misalign.
The base holder Sport is slimmer and offers a streamlined design in conjunction with any muzzle attachment of the Link system.
The base holder SD, on the other hand, features an M27x1.5 thread and a 29 mm toothed ring for mounting silencers – this system corresponds to the Ase-Utra BoreLock quick-change system and can accommodate all silencers that use this system. It should be noted that while the base holder SD can accommodate all muzzle attachments of the Link system, some silencer models may not be compatible with long compensators and muzzle brakes, and there may be losses in suppression performance if the wrong attachment is chosen. Hera Arms therefore recommends using the muzzle attachments MBS (Muzzle Brake Short) or PB (Pepperbox) for use with silencers.

Mounting the Link system:
- The base holder is screwed directly onto the corresponding muzzle thread.
- Please do not use crush washers or spacers!
- Application of thread locker is not necessary.
- The base holder is firmly screwed against the barrel – proper clamping of the weapon is essential. Before the muzzle attachment is mounted, ensure that the 3 set screws in the base holder are turned out far enough so that they do not block the muzzle attachment! The chosen muzzle attachment is first screwed into the base holder as far as possible and then aligned – for this, it is unscrewed just enough until the compensator holes are in the desired position. The two parts are fixed against each other by tightening the 3 set screws in the base holder.
- The screws should first be lightly tightened one after the other and finally hand-tightened.
- When using the base holder SD, care should be taken that the set screws do not block the M27x1.5mm thread – this should, however, be impossible in the fixed state.
- If the set screws protrude beyond the body of the base holder in the fixed state, the muzzle attachment has not been properly mounted or there are foreign objects in the construction.
- If the muzzle attachment is to be changed or the system cleaned, the 3 set screws must of course be loosened first so that the muzzle attachment can be removed. In general, we recommend having the assembly performed by a knowledgeable person.

Das Link System von Hera Arms bietet einen modularen und einfachen Weg zur Montage und zum Wechsel von Mündungsaufsätzen. Das System besteht aus Zwei Teilen – dem Grundhalter, welcher auf dem Mündungsgewinde der Waffe verschraubt wird und auf dieser verbleibt und dem Mündungsaufsatz, welcher einfach in den Grundhalter geschraubt und mit 3 Madenschrauben im Stile eines Dreibackenfutters ausgerichtet und fixiert wird.
Die Grundhalter sind aktuell in 2 Varianten für verschiedene Mündungsgewinde verfügbar.
Die verfügen Mündungsgewinde bei Beiden Varianten sind: 1/2“x28 UNF, 5/8“x24 UNF & M15x1.
Da der Grundhalter direkt auf das Mündungsgewinde geschraubt wird sind keine Unterlegscheiben oder Quetschringe (crush washer) notwendig durch die sich der Mündungsaufsatz verkanten könnte.
Der Grundhalter Sport ist schlanker und bietet in Verbindung mit einem beliebigen Mündungsaufsatz des Link Systems ein stromlinienförmiges Design.
Der Grundhalter SD dagegen verfügt über ein M27x1,5 Gewinde und einen 29 mm Zahnkranz zur Aufnahme von Schalldämpfern – dieses System entspricht dem Ase-Utra BoreLock Schnellwechselsystem und kann alle Schalldämpfer aufnehmen, die dieses System verwenden. Hierbei ist zu beachten, dass der Grundhalter SD zwar alle Mündungsaufsätze des Link Systemes aufnehmen kann aber einige Schalldämpfermodelle nicht kompatibel sind mit den langen Kompensatoren und Rückstoßbremsen und es Einbußen bei der Dämpfungsleistung geben kann wenn der falsche Aufsatz gewählt wird. Hera Arms empfiehlt daher für die Verwendung mit Schalldämpfern die Mündungsaufsätze MBS (Muzzle Brake Short) oder PB (Pepperbox).

Der Grundhalter wird direkt auf das entsprechende Mündungsgewinde geschraubt.
Bitte keine Crush Washer oder Unterlegscheiben verwenden!
Ein Anbringen von Schraubensicherung ist nicht notwendig.
Der Grundhalter wird fest gegen den Lauf verschraubt – ein ordnungsgemäßes Einspannen der Waffe ist unabdingbar.
Bevor der Mündungsaufsatz montiert wird ist darauf zu achten, dass die 3 Madenschrauben im Grundhalter so weit herausgedreht sind, dass sie den Mündungsaufsatz nicht blockieren!
Der gewählte Mündungsaufsatz wird in den Grundhalter zuerst so weit wie möglich eingeschraubt und dann ausgerichtet – dazu wird er gerade soweit wieder herausgeschraubt, bis sich die Kompensatorbohrungen in der gewünschten Position befinden.
Die beiden Teile werden gegeneinander durch das Anziehen der 3 Madenschrauben im Grundhalter fixiert.
Die Schrauben sollten zuerst alle nacheinander leicht und zum Schluss handfest angezogen werden.
Bei der Verwendung des Grundhalters SD ist darauf zu achten, dass die Madenschrauben das M27x1,5mm Gewinde nicht blockieren – dies sollte allerdings im fixierten Zustand unmöglich sein.
Ragen die Madenschrauben im fixierten Zustand über den Korpus des Grundhalters heraus wurde der Mündungsaufsatz nicht ordentlich montiert oder es befinden sich Fremdkörper in der Konstruktion.
Soll der Mündungsaufsatz gewechselt oder das System gereinigt werden, müssen natürlich zuerst die 3 Madenschrauben wieder gelöst werden damit der Mündungsaufsatz entfernt werden kann.
Generell empfehlen wir die Montage durch eine kundige Person ausführen zu lassen.
