Due to intelligent design, the weight could be reduced by about 50% compared to the normal ERATAC mounts, thus all mount variants weigh less than 150 g. To achieve this goal, the mounts are very short and equipped with the self-locking T3 fastening system (TORX). The rings intentionally do not include a universal interface to further reduce weight.
All Eratac mounts are manufactured to military standards and additionally anodized to Mil-Spec Type III - ensuring rust resistance. Tested up to caliber .50 BMG, ERATAC guarantees the highest shot resistance.
