The Edgar Sherman Design Paracord Guide is a small and inconspicuous but extremely practical helper for the use of a rifle sling. When a sling is attached to the weapon with paracord, it has several advantages - it is a lightweight solution, very modular, and can be mounted anywhere a loop or recess can be used to thread the rope through, and of course, it is one of the quietest sling attachments available. The disadvantage is usually that the sling can easily twist and the exposed knot of the paracord may come loose or get caught - the ESD Paracord Guide solves these problems by providing the sling with a stable anchor point through which the paracord is threaded, and the knot is stored in the guide, thus secured additionally. Designed for 1" / 25mm sling width, the Paracord Guide can be used with almost all tactical rifle slings made of webbing. Made from a robust nylon variant, the grip is resistant to heat and impacts and is resistant to cracks and breaks.

Edgar Sherman Design originated from the desire of its namesake founder to pursue a military career to serve his country. Der Edgar Sherman Design Paracord Guide ist ein kleiner und unscheinbarer aber äußerst praktischer Helfer für den Einsatz eines Gewehrriemens. Wird ein Riemen mit Paracord an der Waffe befestigt, hat das einige Vorteile - es ist eine leichte Lösung, sehr modular und kann überall montiert werden, wo eine Öse oder Aussparung missbraucht werden kann um das Seil durchzufädeln und natürlich handelt es sich um eine der leisesten Riemenbefestigungen, die es gibt. Stichwort: Geräuschtarnung.
Der Nachteil ist normalerweise, dass der Riemen sich leicht verdreht und der offenliegende Knoten des Paracord sich evtl. lösen kann oder hängenbleibt - der ESD Paracord Guide löst diese Probleme, indem er dem Riemen einen stabilen Ankerpunkt gibt, durch den das Paracord gefädelt wird und der Knoten wird in dem Guide, der Führung, verstaut und somit extra abgesichert. Ausgelegt für 1" / 25mm Riemenbreite ist der Paracord Guide mit nahezu allen taktischen Gewehrriemen aus Gurtband einsetzbar. Hergestellt aus einer robusten Nylon-Variante ist der Griff beständig gegen Hitze und Stöße und resistent gegenüber Rissen und Brüchen.
