The Magpul MS1 "Multi Mission" Sling is the current variant of the MS1 rifle sling with new strap sliders. The sling comes completely without mounting interfaces and is therefore suitable for any application - all attachments with a 1 1/4" (approx. 3.2cm) opening can be used, or the strap can be directly threaded into a corresponding sling attachment, e.g., on a stock or end plate. The MS1 strap slider allows for quick length adjustment of the sling with a secure hold, without slipping once the length is set. Due to the design of the sling, there are no loose ends or loops that can get caught. The sling itself can be adjusted to a length of approx. 121cm to approx. 152cm, and the MS1 strap slider additionally allows for a quick adjustment of +/- approx. 13cm, for a total quick adjustment range of approx. 26cm.
The sling itself has undergone extreme stress tests - it has been subjected to tens of thousands of simulated weather changes, loaded and tested on adjustment slides for over 71 hours, and weighted drop tests from a height of 1.8m have been conducted. And of course, the sling has been practically tested to the fullest.
The webbing, with a width of approx. 32mm, is made of nylon and does not rub to protect the user from abrasion. The colored webbing is treated for NIR and to reduce the IR signature. The strap sliders are made of high-strength polymer.

Der Magpul MS1 "Multi Mission" Sling ist die aktuelle Variante des MS1 Gewehrriemens mit neuen Gurtschieber. Der Riemen kommt komplett ohne Montageschnittstellen und ist daher für jeden Einsatzweck geeignet - es lassen sich alle Befestigungen mit 1 1/4" (ca. 3,2cm) Durchlass verwenden oder der Gurt kann direkt in eine entsprechende Riemenaufnahme z.B. an Schaft oder Endplate eingefädelt werden. Der MS1 Gurtschieber erlaubt eine schnelle Längenverstellung des Riemens mit festem Halt, ohne durchrutschen sobald die Länge eingestellt wurde. Aufgrund der Konstruktion des Riemens gibt es keine losen Enden oder Schlaufen, welche hängenbleiben können. Der Riemen selbst kann auf eine Länge von ca. 121cm bis ca. 152cm eingestellt werden, der MS1-Gurtschieber erlaubt zusätzlich eine Schnellverstellung von +/- ca. 13cm, für einen gesamten Schnellverstellweg von ca. 26 cm.
Der Riemen selber wurde extremen Stresstests unterzogen - er wurde Zehntausenden simulierten Witterungswechseln ausgesetzt, beladen über 71 Stunden auf Rutschen der Verstellung getestet und es wurden gewichtete Falltests aus 1,8m Höhe durchgeführt. Und natürlich wurde der Sling im praktischen Einsatz auf Herz und Nieren überprüft.
Das Gurtband mit ca. 32mm Breite ist aus Nylon gefertigt und reibt nicht, um den Benutzer vor Abrieb zu schützen. Die farbigen Gurtbänder sind NIR-behandelt und die IR-Signatur zu verringern.
Die Gurtschieber sind aus hochbelastbarem Polymer gefertigt.
