The Magpul Zhukov-S Stock is optimized for most Kalashnikovs with stamped receivers (AKM) and fixed stocks or side-folding stocks, using a special mounting wedge that achieves a solid and secure connection between the stock and the receiver. The stock itself is designed as a streamlined folding stock and offers modern features such as QD sling swivel attachments and the fact that it folds to the right for use with optics. A sling swivel pass-through is integrated into the stock as standard, as is typical for Magpul. An elevated cheek riser is available separately and can be easily attached - optimized for use with an optic. A QD socket with limited rotation play is integrated into the folding mechanism for single point slings, and optional QD sockets are located on both sides of the stock cap.
The stock is easily adjustable in length in 5 positions, and the locking lever is integrated into the design and cannot snag. The folding mechanism also locks in the folded position, allowing the weapon to be cycled with the stock folded when no elevated cheek riser is mounted.

Der Magpul Zhukov-S Stock ist optimiert für die meiste meisten Kalaschnikovs mit geprägtem Gehäuse (AKM) und Festschaft oder seitlichen Klappschaft und benutzt einen speziellen Montagekeil, durch den eine feste und sichere Verbindung von Schaft und Gehäuse erreicht wird. Der Schaft selbst ist als stromlinienförmiger Klappschaft ausgeführt und bietet neben der Gummischaftkappe moderne Features wie Aufnahmen für QD-Ösen und die Tatsache, dass er nach rechts geklappt wird für den Einsatz mit Optiken. Ein Durchlass für Riemenbügel ist, wie von Magpul gewohnt, als Standard im Schaft integriert. Eine erhöhte Wangenauflage ist separat erhältlich und kann einfach aufgesteckt werden - optimiert für die Verwendung mit einer Optik. Eine QD-Aufnahme mit begrenzten Rotationspielraum ist im Klappmechanismus integriert für Single Point Slings, optionale QD-Aufnahmen befinden sich beidseitig an der Schaftkappe.
Der Schaft ist einfach in 5 Positionen längenverstellbar, der Arretierungshebel ist ins Design eingepasst und kann nicht hängenbleiben. Der Klappmechanismus arretiert auch im abgeklappten Zustand, wenn keine erhöhte Wangenauflage montiert ist, kann die Waffe auch mit abgeklapptem Schaft durchgeladen werden.
