The Magpul ACS is a stock for Mil-Spec Carbine buffer tubes, which are standard for AR15 semi-automatics as well as other platforms. The "Adaptable Carbine/Storage" stock features waterproof compartments for batteries on both the right and left sides of the stock and another universal storage compartment at the stock cap. The battery compartments hold 3 CR123 or 2 AA batteries each and are sealed with a non-loss rubber plug. The storage compartment has a spring-loaded lid on the right side. Similar to the well-known CTR stock, the adjustment lever has an additional locking mechanism, and the entire design is integrated into the stock to prevent accidental adjustment.
As expected from Magpul, the ACS is made from high-strength polymer. A rubber stock cap and a QD attachment for Magpul sling swivels are included. Furthermore, a 1"/25mm sling can be directly threaded into the stock. A generous cheek rest allows for repeatable shooting accuracy.

Der Magpul ACS ist ein Schubschaft für Mil-Spec Carbine Buffertubes wie sie Standard bei AR15 Halbautomaten aber auch anderen Plattformen sind. Der "Adaptable Carbine/Storage" Schaft verfügt über wasserdichte Fächer für Batterien jeweils rechts und links am Schaft und ein weiteres universelles Aufbewahrungfach an der Schaftkappe. Die Batteriefächer fassen je 3 CR123 oder 2 AA-Batterien und sind mit einem unverlierbaren Gummistopfen verschlossen. Das Aufbewahrungsfach verfügt über einen durch Federkraft verschlossenen Deckel auf der rechten Seite. Ähnlich dem bekannten CTR-Schaft besitzt der Verstellhebel eine zusätzliche Arretierung, das gesamte Design ist geschützt in den Schaft eingebaut und kann so nicht aus Versehen verstellt werden.
Wie von Magpul gewohnt ist der ACS aus hochfestem Polymer gefertigt. Eine Gummischaftkappe sowie eine QD-Aufnahme für Magpul Kugeldruckbügel gehören zum Lieferumfang. Desweiteren kann ein 1"/25mm Riemen direkt in den Schaft gefädelt werden. Eine großzüge Wangenauflage erlaubt ein wiederholgenaues schießen.
