The Midwest Industries Gen 2 AK Side Mount is a modern side mount for the classic mounting rail, as used on most Kalashnikov derivatives for decades. Made from aluminum, the mount offers tool-free adjustment of the locking mechanism and is absolutely repeatable. The two-part design allows the upper part, which holds the optics, to be swapped for another mount - in all variants, the mounting height is as low as possible above the housing for optimal adjustment options.
The offered variant features the Mini ACOG footprint, meaning that all optics with this mount can be installed. In addition to the namesake Mini ACOGs (NOT the standard ACOG), these include the Primary Arms SLx 1x / 3x / 5x as well as GLx 1x Micro Prism Sights - but the EoTech Vudu 3-9x42 can also be directly attached!
Please note:
The mount is designed for the standard AK / AKM side rail - some manufacturers and weapons like the SKS use a similar but not identical rail. The WBP weapons we offer are compatible with this mount.

Die Midwest Industries Gen 2 AK Side Mount ist eine moderne Seitenmontage für die klassische Montageschiene, wie sie an den meisten Kalaschnikow-Derivaten seit Jahrzehnten verbaut ist. Gefertigt aus Aluminium bietet die Montage eine werkzeugfreie Einstellung der Arretierung und ist absolut wiederholgenau. Der zweiteilige Aufbau erlaubt es, dass das Oberteil, welches die Optik aufnimmt gegen eine andere Aufnahme getauscht werden kann - bei allen Varianten sitzt die Montagehöhe so niedrig wie möglich über dem Gehäuse für optimale Einstellmöglichkeiten.
Die angebotene Variante verfügt über den Mini ACOG footprint, d.h. es können alle Optiken mit dieser Aufnahme installiert werden. Neben den namensgebenden Mini ACOGs (NICHT das normale ACOG) sind das die Primary Arms SLx 1x / 3x / 5x sowie GLx 1x Micro Prism Sights - aber auch das EoTech Vudu 3-9x42 kann direkt befestigt werden!

Die Montage ist für die Standard AK / AKM Seitenschiene ausgelegt - einiger Hersteller und Waffen wie die SKS benutzen eine ähnliche, aber nicht identische Schiene. Die von uns angebotenen WBP-Waffen sind mit dieser Montage kompatibel.
