The TT PLATE CARRIER LP (low profile) MKII is an extremely lightweight plate carrier made from elastic and breathable materials. The current variant of the LP model features several changes that better meet application needs. Designed to be worn underneath, it is space-saving and discreet. Due to its intended use, the Low Profile plate carrier does not offer attachment options on the front or back, but there are two integrated pockets in the cummerbund at the front, and two additional removable pockets can be added if needed. These pockets can hold accessories such as radios, rifle magazines, and similar items.
The insertion pockets for armor plates are designed for standard 10x12" (25x30cm) plates. The width adjustment via the cummerbund and the length adjustment via the shoulder straps are completely made with Velcro, allowing for quick and uncomplicated donning with a flat silhouette, and above all, there are no hard buckles that objects could bump against, keyword noise concealment. The cummerbund is also elastic for better wearing comfort.
The hard ballistic protection plate Berserker is made of Al²O³, aluminum oxide ceramic, the composite material offers a good compromise between cost-effectiveness and stability. The plate has the US protection class NIJ Level IV and features the so-called SAPI cut with a standard size of 10x12" / 25x30cm. To increase impact protection, the plate is surrounded by a thin foam layer. Unlike many other protection plates, PGD's protective effect extends to the edge of the plate, and the thin foam covering adds hardly any bulk, ensuring safety at the highest level. The entire plate is also enveloped in a completely new "heat-sealed" waterproof cover, which repels water, oil, and other liquids without compromising ballistic properties.
The PGD Berserker protection plate does not require an additional soft ballistic plate to achieve its full protective effect, so it can be directly inserted into the plate carrier. The SAPI cut design allows for free movement of the arms, and due to the simple bending (single curved), the plate adapts somewhat to the body contour.

The American protection class NIJ Level IV is often compared to the German SK4 - ballistically, the main difference is that Level IV is tested against the single shot of a stronger armor-piercing ammunition, .30-06 AP, and multiple shots (6 hits) of weaker .308 VM, while the SK4 is tested against multiple shots (3 hits) of weaker armor-piercing .308 AP.

Der TT PLATE CARRIER LP (low profile) MKII ist ein extrem leichter Plattenträger aus elastischen und luftdurchlässigen Materialien. Die aktuelle Variante des LP-Modelles verfügt über einige Änderungen die der Anwendung besser gerecht werden. Ausgelegt zum unterziehen ist er platzsparend und unauffällig. Bedingt durch den Einsatzzweck bietet der Plattenträger Low Profile keine Befestigungsmöglichkeiten auf Front oder Rücken, es stehen aber an der Front zwei in den Kummberbund integrierte Taschen zur Verfügung und Zwei weitere abnehmebare Taschen können bei Bedarf hinzugefügt werden. Diese Taschen können Zubehör wie Funkgeräte, Gewehrmagazine und ähnliches aufnehmen.
Die Einschubfächer für Panzerplatten sind ausgelegt für Standard 10x12" (25x30cm) Platten. Die Weitenverstellung über den Kummerbund und die Längenverstellung über die Schulterträger ist komplett mit Klett ausgeführt, das erlaubt ein schnelles und unkompliziertes anlegen bei flacher Silouette und vor allem gibt es so keine harten Schnallen, an die Gegenstände stoßen könnten, Stichwort Geräuschtarnung. Der Kummerbund ist zusätzlich noch elastisch für besseren Tragekomfort.
Die Hartballistik-Schutzplatte Berserker besteht aus Al²O³, Aluminiumoxidkeramik, der Verbundstoff bietet einen guten Kompromiss aus Wirtschaftlichkeit und Stabilität. Die Platte verfügt über die US-Schutzklasse NIJ Level IV und verfügt über den sogenannten SAPI-Schnitt mit einer Standardgröße von 10x12" / 25x30cm. Zur Erhöhung des Schlagschutzes ist die Platte mit einer dünnen Schaumschicht umhüllt. Anders als bei vielen anderen Schutzplatten geht bei PGD die Schutzwirkung bis zum Rand der Platte, die dünne Schaumummantelung trägt kaum auf, für Sicherheit auf höchstem Niveau. Die gesamte Platte wird außerdem von einem völlig neuen „hitzeversiegelten“ wasserfesten Bezug ummantelt, welcher Wasser, Öl und andere Flüssigkeiten abweist, ohne die ballistischen Eigenschaften zu beeinträchtigen.
Die PGD Berserker Schutzplatte benötigt keine zusätzliche Weichballistik-Platte, um Ihre volle Schutzwirkung zu entfalten, kann also direkt in den Plattenträger eingesetzt werden. Das SAPI-Schnittdesign ermöglicht freie Bewegung an den Armen, durch die einfache Biegung (single curved) passt sich die Platte der Körperkontur etwas an.
